Studying in another country can be challenging, from communicating in a new language and adapting to different ways of learning, to making new friends and socialising. That's why we've brought together a range of information and links to help you get settled.

Did you miss the International Student Welcome during Welcome Week? The slides are all on our SharePoint site. You can also access the digital copy of the International Student Handbook there. You must be logged into your student account in order to access it.

Financial Support

The finance department can help you with tuition fee queries, accommodation fee queries, payment methods, payments plans, and general payment queries. 

If you require advice, the Student Support & Advice Team and the SU Advice Centre are available to help you.

Self Paid Tuition Fees

Within 21 days of enrolment your tuition fee balance needs to be cleared in full or you need to have set up an agreed payment plan.

If this is not complete then your study progression with the University may be affected as per the University General Regulations. Tuition fees can be paid in full or by setting up an instalment plan online. Instalments are due on the 15th of each month for a term of between two and nine months commencing in the month of enrolment.

In addition to a range of events to help you adjust to studying in the UK, we offer a range of help and support services for academic matters to help you settle in and make the most of your time at Lincoln.

Student Support and Wellbeing

At the 情色六月天, we take great pride in placing our students at the heart of everything we do. We understand that leaving home, starting university, and embarking on your future career is a big step, but at Lincoln, it鈥檚 not one you have to take alone.

Our Student Support Centre is situated at the heart of our Brayford Pool Campus and is the first port of call for helping you to find the support you may need. Our specialist teams offer free, impartial, and confidential advice and information on an array of topics - from fees, funding, and making payments, to housing, visas, and legal issues.

As soon as you have enrolled at the University, you will be able to register with our on-campus Health Centre and you can also seek specialist advice from our Student Wellbeing Centre. The team includes student wellbeing advisors, mental health advisors, and counsellors who can provide advice and guidance in relation to disability, medical conditions, learning differences, and mental health.

Personal Tutors

You will be allocated a Personal Tutor from your School. Your Personal Tutor is a member of academic staff who will be your point of contact for academic issues and personal issues that impact on your ability to fully engage with your course. They will help direct you to relevant teams as required.


Digital Services How To Guides

Our helpful guides can assist you with a range of common IT issues you may face when getting started at university, including multi-factor authentication, passwords, WiFi, and email.

Cost of Living Support

Recent increases in the cost of living are affecting everyone. To help ease some of the uncertainty you may be feeling, the 情色六月天 and the Students' Union have created a dedicated hub which provides a range of helpful information and advice on how to manage your finances and the support available.

Working in the UK

Your Student visa allows you to work up to 20 hours per week during term-time. You can request a Certificate of Study through your OneUni account to show your employer.

Preparing you for your future career in the global graduate jobs market shapes your student experience from the day that you enrol. Alongside our industry-engaged approach to teaching, we have a dedicated, award-winning Careers team to support you throughout your time at Lincoln and beyond You can access a wealth of resources on our Careers and Employability website, including a dedicated Careers Guide for International Students.
