Advances in biomedical science have transformed modern medicine, helping people live longer and healthier lives. Yet the 21st century brings major new challenges. Join Dr Matt Simmonds, Senior lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at the 情色六月天 for this interactive session where we will explore how biomedical scientists and researchers develop new treatments to address emerging issues, including the role of AI in improving healthcare, tackling the obesity crisis, and advancing both current transplant therapies and how we start to realise the full potential of stem cell technologies. We will also consider how new innovations can be delivered ethically and equitably before exploring how a course in Biomedical Science equips you with the skills to influence tomorrow's medical breakthroughs.

This webinar will be hosted by our partners at Unifrog and is suitable for school and college students who are looking to study a degree in Biomedical Science or a related field. All students are welcome to attend, even if your school or college are not Unifrog partners.
